ButaNexT will host a session within the Energy and Environment Knowledge Week Congress in Paris on 28 October as it looks to share its innovative research on next generation biobutanol with the scientific community and industrial stakeholders.
The annual congress is an international multidisciplinary event planned to discuss and present cutting-edge research in energy and environment in all possible fields of study, organised in partnership between the University of Castilla-La Mancha and the University Paris Est-Créteil (UPEC).
Ines del Campo Colmenar from CENER, Spain’s National Renewable Energy Centre, will chair the event, and introduce participants to the ButaNexT project. There will then be four further presentations from ButaNext consortium partners, covering the following topics:
Strategies to Introduce N-Butanol in Gasoline Blends
Cold-Flow and Filterability Properties of Butanol and Ethanol Blends with Diesel and Biodiesel Fuels
Modelling Viscosity of Alcohol Blends with Diesel and Biodiesel Fuels
Sustainable Feedstocks for Advanced Biofuel Production in Europe
The session will also include an additional presentation on the effect of butanol on engine emissions.
